You have to check this out in the video.
Yes, that is one player physically picking up an opposing one.
No, you can't do that.
Kentucky guard Tyler Ulis tried to box out Jimmie Taylor in the second half of Saturday's game when the Alabama forward wrapped him up and flipped him sideways.
Taylor earned a foul for his actions, and Ulis hit the ensuing free throws to give Kentucky a 58-44 lead.
The No. 9 Wildcats went on to top the host Crimson Tide, 77-61.

I thought then, and still do, that Ulis did as much "holding on" as did the opposing player.

I agree, HC. Plus, it added a little comic relief to the game. I laughed my tail off when I saw what actually happened on the replay.

Ulis had a pretty good arm lock around his leg, that was funny, our little pit bull doing his thing.
