Their are several reasons for that:
1. The game is being played at TCU.
2. TCU has just dropped out of the top 25 with most recent losses at both Kansas St by 5 pts and Vanderbilt by 3 pts.
3. TCU has losses to OK by 1 pt at home and by 5 pts in in OT at OK.
4. They lost to Baylor by 3 pts in OT at Baylor.
5. They lost to Kansas by 4 pts at home.
6. They lost at Texas in 2OT by 1 pt.
Texas Tech has a better record at 18-4 vs 15-6.
1. They beat Baylor by 24 pts at home.
2.They beat Kansas by 12 pts on the road.
3. They beat Kansas St. by 16 pts at home.
4. They beat Texas by 2 pts in 2OT at home.
5. They lost to Oklahoma by 10 on the road.
6. They lost to Seton Hall on the road by 10 pts.
Both have some good and bad games but I imagine the main reason is they are playing at home.
