We will have to be ready if we expect to win but the good thing is we know exactly what they are going to do and we have some time to prepare. We have the players and they are starting to play up to their capabilities so if the coachs can get the players in the right frame of mind I like our chances.
It’s Kentucky-Louisville week so there is going to be plenty to talk/read about. Today take a look at what Saint Louis coach Jim Crews had to say about Louisville’s chances to win a second straight national title after the Cards ousted his team Saturday.
“Well, obviously they’ve got a chance to repeat. They’ve got‑‑ how many teams are left now? So they’re going to be in the final 16, so they got better than the other 340. A lot better chance than us right now,” Crews said. “So yeah. I’m not going to make them favored, but I don’t know who I would favor anyway. That’s why you’ve got to play the game.
“They’ve got a very good team. They’re solid, a solid team. I know it’s fun to speculate and everything else, but I haven’t even seen all the teams that are going to be left. I haven’t seen them play, so I really don’t know.”
What about the Louisville defense that held Saint Louis without a 3-point goal?
“Well, they’re very good defensively. They change things up. They do press, and they play zone and have different shifts and so forth, and they mix it up with man,” Crews said. “They keep you a little bit off balance with that, which is a good thing because basketball is a rhythmatic game and they keep you out of rhythm with it.”

He said some nice things about the Cards, but did not go so far as to favor them in this game, nor for the rest of the tourney.

It will be a game for the ages and probably pretty close all the way through. These teams are very close in talent and the one that wants it the most will be the winner.
