1st They are only free is you make them....and the CATS have been uncharacteristically good lately...

2nd Does it annoy anyone else that after a foul they seem to always take a TV break..... come back and then put the shooter on the line....

If I remember correctly, putting a guy on the line, out of breath, sweat dripping off his brow... USED to be what we saw...... The player, taking deep breaths to slow them down.... kind of like the routine that Kyle Macy used to regain his focus at the line....

Late in games, opposing coaches, would call a time out to "ice the shooter"..... I tend to disagree..... I want the joker standing there panting, trying to catch his breath as a better move.....

Then again, UK vs. Ark there was only 1 timeout called but either coach........ An unusually fast 1st half...... Then again, there were enough under 16, under 10 etc., and TV timeouts that the coaches didn't need to use them..

Or am I the only the guy who was so out of breath at the line, I thought I needed an oxygen bottle... [Wink]

FC, I agree and went back 7 games when we seemed to turn it around. The Florida game when we hit 21-22 at their place started the run and since that time we have gone 112/142 witch equates to a 78.8 shooting percentage. This is awesome percentage to say the least.

The best shooting free throw shooting team in the country is Illinois and they shoot 79% and that is for a whole season. We did not have a good start but even with that bad start we are the 98th best free throw shooting team in Div 1 basketball.

There are 5 other SEC teams that shoot free throws at a higher percent than we do and Ole Miss leads the SEC with a 77.5 average which is 4th best in Div.1 basketball.
