I don't think the attached link shows exactly what Andrew Harrison said. In case you haven't heard he was caught calling Kaminsky a "f'ing n-----. Granted he was muttering under his breath when someone asked about Kaminsky, but I would have thought he would have been smarter than that.

I don't know, sounds like there is too much of the thought police going on here. The question wasn't directed to him, and it sounded like someone had his voice singled out simply to try to catch something like this. He said it to himself under his breathe. I'm sure there have been worse things said in the same situation before and not been caught like that.

I would be guessing that this incident could play some part in his deciding to go in the draft or return.

No doubt. My guess is he was gone anyway, but I'd say he's packing right now after so much of the BBN turned their backs on him so quickly.

I won't turn my back on any of these kids! They laid it all out on the line night in and night out for the BLUE and WHITE!

Yep. It was a private comment that he was saying to himself that no one else was to hear. The mic picked it up. I think we have all muttered stuff under our breath before that was not intended for any ones ears.

Lesson learned from him and he corrected it head on.

Tell that to the former Nets owner who was forced to sell his team.

I thought that was the Clippers owner?

What would we all be saying if Kaminsky said the same thing about Andrew? If the roles were reversed the news media would be having a field day compared to what is now being reported.

I love this team as much as anybody but that remark was plain STUPID and hurts the reputation of our team. Black or white, that should never happen.

Right is right and wrong is wrong, no matter who says it.

But the remark was not aimed at anyone, he didn't think anyone would hear him, little different.

Not a big deal to me. The press and the public have been acting like a bunch of retards for a long time, making big deals out of nothing events.

Regarding the press field day with Andrew's "double standard" comment......I'm not a fan of ANYone using the "n-word", 9 times out of 10, when a black person uses it, they're using it as a slang, regarding ANYone, regardless of race. It has, unfortunately, become very commonplace with today's youth (of all races). Again I say, I don't agree with it being used, but that's how it is. When Harrison said,"F that nigga", it was tasteless, uncalled for, and immature, yes, but racist? No.

That is exactly my point, gasp and heavy sigh! We are only allowed to use the first letter of a word that has become so dangerous to society.

Preventing anyone from even using it in reference because it is so damaging, that society itself may fall apart right before our eyes if uttered or written.

I don't care. Was it wrong in this day and age to say it? Absolutely. Kaminsky himself has been interviewed about it, and said he's 'over it'. If he's not bothered why should anyone else be?

I'm curious what Ashley Judd feels about it? She's the voice of the common folk, stands up for those unable or unwilling (or who don't want the attention) to stand up for themselves.

It was a stupid thing to get caught saying, but I don't care. Now, if Kaminsky said it about Harrison, I would expect Sharpton and Jesse Jackhole to be all over it.

I have looked at several news stories on this. The comments sections are filled with hateful crap about UK and especially Cal. When you are King of the Mountain, everybody wants to knock you down. Think what it would be like if we had actually won the championship!

We would have been the biggest cheaters to ever play the game no doubt.
