The Kentucky Wildcats put on a historic performance in their final exhibition game, a 156-63 win over Asbury. That is the most points a UK team has ever scored in any game, real or exhibition.

Sure, Asbury isn’t a fair team to gauge UK against, but the fact they had a performance that no other UK team has had in a similar scenario is pretty impressive. UK has been playing basketball for over 100 years and played plenty of teams that were greatly undermanned, but none have been able to do what this squad did Sunday night.

But we already knew this was a special team. This game just helped add to the excitement of the upcoming season.
