People are always quick to judge others. That's one of the big problems with our society today.

I have a hard time getting mad at these kids for something like that. There are those that will demand a pound of flesh, though.

I understand he is a kid, but he also needs to learn from this and grow from it. I did not like it one bit, and he should know better at this point in his basketball career. I don't need a pound of flesh, but I sure hope he had to run a heck of alot, and his teammates should have been disappointed in him. I also wouldn't mind him not starting so he understands his mistake, and the bigger issue is him understanding why it was bad for him to be laughing at that point. When your team is being embarrassed like that no one should be laughing it up. You should be yelling for your teammates to bust their butt and work hard, or you should be asking to go back in to help your team finish better and build from it. He is a kid, and I know that, but I sure hope he was able to learn from the instance.

I am sure at that age we all made mistakes like Monk did. He is using it as a learning experience and apologized which was the right thing to do.

He is currently my least favorite Cat of all time. I love watching him when he is on, as it is fun to watch, but I can't stand the fact that he plays no defense, doesn't rebound, and really doesn't seem to care. I love the guys that are overall great players, and that really put their all into doing the little things that make a team and player great.

I liked Monk from day 1. He has to improve. The whole team does. It is a shame that he had to apologize for laughing. As far as I am concerned, I think he a fine, upstanding young man. He is the star player and his game has to be on, if they are going to beat great teams. That is a lot of pressure for a freshman. Monk is an 18 or 19 year old teenager. Adolph Rupp used to say that the best thing about freshmen is that they turn into sophomores.
