KY has moved the lead out to 12 points.

It seems to me that the Cats need to learn to rebound the ball a little better than they currently are!

I hate these SEC+ ball games. When you have to watch the game on an IPad rather than your 65"
What a pain. Now you can watch it after the fact on Youtube!

Even though they started slow they finally found the 3 distance and did just fine. Robinson will be the man during this season with a whole lot of help from several others. Was wondering why our state scoring champ didn't see action until near the end of the game. I believe it was because Kerr Krissa returned to back up at PG. Next weeks 2 games should be fairly easy but Duke will tell us a big story the following week.

If they lose by less than 15 I would consider it a success. Just not enough talent on the roster to compete with a loaded Duke team.

Flagg is the real deal and will likely be NCAA Player of the Year.

All indications say you may be right but I'll believe it when I see it.

How many times has a UK team lost to a team with a lot less "talent" simply because the opponent could shoot? It has happened quite a lot. Cal always said he'd take talent over experience. Well I'll take shooting ability over talent. I know we're gonna take some lumps this year, but I won't count them out of any game the way this team can shoot.

I am just not convinced they are going to be good shooters against better competition. We are going to find out though because the perimeter game is what they do best by far, and I am not complaining about that. It would be nice to have quick PG like Fox or Ulis who could penetrate draw the defense and then find the shooters.

If I were the opposing coach I would press out hard on the three and force them two to three feet out beyond their normal spots.

I would not be fearful of getting beat off the dribble because that is really none of UK's players strength. The kid from Oklahoma appears to be the best of the bunch beating his man off the dribble, but no where near elite level at it. Add to that UK basically has no true post up game I would for sure press out and invite them to go through the post and just play that straight up man to man, offer no help, and stick like glue to the "shooters".

Just my thoughts.

Sounds good but I don't know any team that has 5 elite defensive guys who can stop good shooters when they make enough passes.
