Last time I checked, Dillingham was still with the Timberwolves but was getting almost no playing time.

I looked up the stats on Dillingham and he has only been in two games since Dec 15. He now has an ankle injury and will be out 1 to 2 weeks.

He had a fantastic year at UK but some people advised him to go too soon. The G league may help him recover and make it back to the NBA but he may also be one of those who was great and will never be quite good enough to stick in the NBA. His height is his biggest disadvantage.

If you are a lottery pick you go. That being said Reed is in the G league because Houston is a surprising 23-12 on the year. Generally a team with the #3 pick the prior year does not have the 5th best record in the entire league the next year.

Add to that Houston's two best players Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet play Reid's position.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I agree his height is his biggest problem.

But what was he to do? Take around a half million from UK or around 21 million from his new employer? They’re employers, both Universities and Professional teams in the sports world we live in today.

Players on last years roster were not as talented as I thought. The ones who went to the NBA did not make the “splash” I thought they would. Transferring players do not seem to be fairing well. Bradshaw can’t even start for a mediocre Ohio State Team, Big I and Wagoner have not played that well in the games I’ve seen. Therio looks the best of the transfers, at least in the games I’ve watched.

G League Debut tonight:

49 Points
5 Rebounds
6 Assists
8 Three Pointers
1 Big dunk down the lane

Houston GM said they sent him down there to get some shots and playing time over the next few weeks and he would be back.

Wow. This kid has "it", that something extra that belies his physical attributes.

I am not sure we will see many studs like him under Pope. I hope he can get the "team ball" concept nailed like Providence did during their run. Otherwise, the talent in the SEC will send us to the cellar every year.
