We weren't outcoached, we just lost to the better team. I can live with that. It was a great game where we just came up a little short to an outstanding Alabama team.

They are very good, and it came down to the fact that they had guys that could get to the basket at any time. That led to open 3's and to all those foul calls and FT's. We just don't have those guys, other than Oweh and maybe Butler. They put so much pressure on your defense with the way they move the ball and attack off the dribble. Our defense just isn't good enough to beat them right now, but the guys played hard and gave them selves a chance in the last minute. I really thought it was over and we'd lose by double digits once we were down by 9.

Perfect example when you go cold on your 3 pointers. Three more of them would have won it. It was a good game but our shooting accuracy was off a little. That's when we will lose.

I did not get to watch the game as my daughter had a dance competition. I probably will not get a chance to watch it this week either with work.

Sounds a lot like the Florida game as far as being a great and entertaining game, but UK ended up on the losing side this time.

Bama has a ton of playmakers so I am not surprised. Also from what I read, it wasn't necessarily that UK shot the ball poorly, looks like they shot it great from everywhere, it was fact that Nate Oates decided to play the 3 Point line the second half and force them into taking more twos.....At least that is what I read in one newspaper.

Like I said didn't see it so I can't comment.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

You're probably correct. Losing by 5 points means we didn't make 2 more threes than we did, Tough loss but there will probably be more. We got a good team but getting better for the tourneys may not happen. Not sure we can win 7 games in a row. We would have to get everyone hitting 3's and I don't think that will happen 7 in a row.

Alabama is a really physical team and foul so much but the referees let them get away with it. They shot 34 fts to the Cats 20. They made 29 fts. That's the difference in the game. The Cats played well enough to win.
