Well the NCAA doesn't make matchups but it is lining up perfectly seed wise for the following teams to all be in the same region:
#2 St John's #3 Kentucky #6 Louisville #7 BYU
and to top it off I bet they may make Wofford a #14 Seed, although they are probably more of a #15, just to have them play UK since Dwight Perry, former walk on at UK, is the head coach.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Don't really matter who they stack the deck with, we just don't have what it takes this year to survive the first week of MM.

Trey, I'll accept your premonitions when you get Arkansas in there too...

Before the season, I wasn't sure we had what it takes to beat Dook, Gonzaga, Florida and Tennessee twice, not to mention road wins against Mississippi State and Missouri. Yeah, I wouldn't bet on us to win the tournament, but I won't count us out so quickly either.

Well I wasn’t close at all. As always Duke has the easiest path to the Final Four. That East Region is by far the weakest region.
Such a joke that UNC got in……1-12 against Quad 1 [ 03-16-2025, 07:58 PM: Message edited by: Trey Ball ]

This is the first time I can remember thinking we were seeded higher than we should be. I'm pretty happy with it. I think we can beat Troy, and then I think we can beat Illinois/Texas/Xavier. Of course we could also lose. And if we are lucky enough to get to the elite 8 we get a Tennessee team that we know we can beat. I love this time of year.

I was thinking the same thing after watching the selection show. Our first 2 games are winable and if we can shoot like we started the season we will be playing the second week, Here's hoping Butler makes it back and doesn't get hurt in any of our future games.
