Watching this game and through the 1st media timeout Arkansas is giving St. John's fits.
Arkansas is exceptionally athletic and long, even without Thiero playing, on the defensive end. Aidoo and Brazille playing at a whole new level.
This game is going to be good if Arkansas can maintain this intensity for 40 minutes, because we know St. John's is going to do so. [ 03-22-2025, 03:09 PM: Message edited by: Trey Ball ]
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

I’m watching also. Arkansas has been playing well of late. It’s a shame Therio got hurt. I’ve been surprised at how little playing time Big I gets of late. IMO he is just too weak. [ 03-22-2025, 03:20 PM: Message edited by: handycat ]

Fun first half to watch. Calls missed both ways and a lot of athleticism on display, but overall the refs are letting them play which I like since they are consistent. Should be a good finish. Arkansas length is causing St. John's problems at the rim.
Agree Big Z is just not strong enough, but he did have a nice hook there towards the end of the half. [ 03-22-2025, 04:08 PM: Message edited by: Trey Ball ]

With 12:17 to go in this game......if Arkansas keeps playing like this they can beat anyone in the country.

Other than the Florida/Kentucky game this is one of the most entertaining and best games I have watched this year.
The Florida/Kentucky game was just a display on high level offense on both sides.......this is a display of high level defense on each side with some occasional offensive execution. Fun to watch
I am fearful that the refs are going to start to take over the last 10 minutes of the game and slow the action down. I hope not. [ 03-22-2025, 04:49 PM: Message edited by: Trey Ball ]

Zube Ejifor is specimen of a human being. A athletic/strong man among athletic boys. Wow.

Very enjoyable game! For whatever reason I found myself pulling for Arkansas. I guess it was because of my close relationship with Cal and Helen.

I didn't think anyone could have a worse shooting day than UK but St Johns is a miserable shooting team. They cost me todays game plus the next round also. What was I thinking when I picked them to win. [ 03-22-2025, 09:30 PM: Message edited by: Bama Cat ]
