The guards were excellent all night and I think the defense when Butler and Oweh were on the court together was excellent. To hold this Illinois team to 75 points was a great effort.

I was surprised how easily they handled the Illini. Been a while since we’ve been to the sweet 16. We need to rename our coach to “ReMarkable Pope”.

It was nice that Illinois just decided to basically hand the ball to UK 10 times as many of their turnovers were not forced by UK.

Great win! My only complaint is Amari Williams misses five layups. Just dunk the dang ball.
