Topic: Disappointing Final Performance

I have to say this was a disappointing final game as UK appeared defeated from the tip. Never played with any passion all night. Just very timid play other than by LaMont Butler and Williams was his normal steady finesse self.
Brea/Oweh/Carr just non existent tonight on either end of the court.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

It was a disappointing finish. I was not expecting us to win, but I really thought we would put up a good fight and have a chance in the end. We looked very timid and shaky in the first half. I really was expecting more from them, but I'm happy with the season. Now I am pulling hard for Bama to beat Duke.

Yeah. Just like snapping your fingers this season is over and about 7 guys played their final game. Game, set, and Match, turn out the lights the party's over. No 3 pointers, no layups. no rebounding and not near enough defense or free throw shooting. Now Pope can go home and start looking at the portal to see who he can convince to come to UK. No distractions like planning for the final 8 or final 4. We have improved over the results from the last few years. Lets see what next year will bring.

I think this was a phenomenal season! I am so proud of this team and our coach. The future is so bright.
FYI - we already landed a 6'8" guard from the portal. Kam Williams from Tulane. He was a true freshman this year, so he could have a lot of time as a Wildcat.

Agree. I’m not disappointed with the season, just disappointed with the performance in this game. Just thought UK played timid from the opening tipoff.
