Merry Christmas to ALL. If you prefer "Happy Holidays", get it from someone else. I'm a little bummed. Our oldest grandchild (will be, 40 on 1 Jan) has never missed being at our house on Christmas Eve in her life. This year she has to work. Damn bank shouldn't even be open! Then, just a few minutes ago, her sister texted, telling us her baby is sick and they won't be here either. We will still have about half of our family here. Gonna have a lot of leftovers!

My best present is: Our daughter, who is a widow and works at WKU, is spending a few days with us. I dearly love all six of our kids, but this one is the oldest and will always be my baby girl, even if she is almost 60!
