Just played a round of golf with Barack Obama and got to spend 4 hours chatting in the cart.
It was the greatest round of golf that you could ever play and all I can say is that he is a really serious golfer! He played well!
It is not the first time the two have crossed paths. In 2012, Calipari and the NCAA Championship team visited the Obama White House to celebrate their title win. Calipari and Obama have bonded over living in Chicago.
Calipari has had frequent run-ins with politicians on both sides of the aisle.
Earlier this year he praised Kelly Knight Craft after being appointed as President Trump's U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Craft was a former Board of Trustees member at the University of Kentucky and an athletics booster.
He also posed with former President Bill Clinton in 2012 to celebrate their win and in 2018 welcomed former secretary of State John Kerry to a practice.
