My youngest son's wife Had COVID symptoms last Wednesday and had the test done. They learned today that the test was positive. I hear that overweight people are high risk. If that is true, she may be in deep doo-doo. I don't now what she weighs, but it is a LOT. We had dinner with them at Bob Evans in Evansville last Tuesday, but so far we are both fine. Hopefully, we'll stay that way. Our son, her husband, works at the Toyota plant in Princeton, Indiana. He has been quarantined, with pay, by them for the next two weeks.
In other news, that same son looked up the coroner's report on that friend of mine that died in the river a few weeks ago. They say he died from a heart attack instead of drowning. My brother and I were speculating about that, because it didn't look like he made any attempt to save himself.

Norm, as you know, my sister lives close to you. Her son-in-law tested positive also. Like you, she had dinner with him the previous day. He was retested later and the result was negative. Hope for a similar result for you. She said Christian County was a hot spot. I believe that is the county next to you.
I have no idea how this “contact tracing” goes but I wonder if someone will be contacting you. Be safe my friend.
Praying for you, Millie and your entire family.

Yep. Christian County is adjoining us to the south. It's about 200 yards to the county line from our house.

Personally, I wouldn't eat at an indoors restaurant if they gave me the food for free.
Yes, weight is a factor, but usually because there are other underlying conditions associated with obesity...heart disease, diabetes, high BP, etc.
Hope things turn out OK for you and you're family, Norm.

Praying for a good outcome for this, Norm. Scary, scary times!
My bridge partner had planned a wedding for her granddaughter (whom she raised) last weekend. At the last minute, her granddaughter tested positive for COVID. Everything had to be cancelled, all money lost. Fortunately, my partner and her husband have no symptoms, and the granddaughter has recovered already (in fact, she is now camping in Arkansas!).
But it sure gives one pause. Not time yet to resume normal activities for us geezers!
