We saw our family doctor last week. He told us that the longer it takes for Millie to recover, the less likely it is that she will do so. She can walk 10 or 15 feet with a Hemi Walker and can stand alone for short intervals, but her left side is still basically unusable. She can move her left arm some, but not the fingers. Fortunately, she is right handed, so she can feed and clean herself. I'm too damn old to be pushing a wheelchair, but I'm doing it and have no intentions of putting her in a nursing home or other such facility.

That is certainly mixed news, Norm. Millie has recovered to a degree, with her family's support. That is good. But it is not yet complete.

Norm, I take what doctors say with a huge grain of salt. They are speaking from valid data -- clinical experiences from many doctors and many patients leads him to tell you this. But that is the "typical" outcome, which should mean as much to you as the fact that the "typical" person in Kentucky is 38.1 years old. So what? That means very little to any given person.

So, we will keep praying, and you will keep serving, and let's see how it actually goes. I never let a doctor throw cold water on MY life!

My wife has three chemo treatments left. She's been very weak. Tomorrow she gets an Iron infusion, it's going to take four hours. The Doctor says this should really pep her up. Thank you for the continued prayers.

Norm, My mother had a massive stroke in 2003. The doctors said she'd be in a vegetable state the rest of her life. Today she's living by herself it's a struggle she has to have help but all and all she's doing well. I told the doctor way back then that we believed in a higher power than him. You and Millie will continue to be in my prayers.

There's a healer more powerful than any Dr. Continue to allow Him to heal and keep your faith in Him!

Norm,
I am a member of a small church and know a man and his son who are in wheelchairs. They have electric wheelchairs and are able to do a lot for themselves. The man's wife provides their care.
