We went with my youngest brother and his wife and a retired army colonel friend and his wife. Being retired military, we stayed in a cabin on a military recreation area, right on a beach on Oahu. The cabin was fully furnished, including kitchen, and had three bedrooms. I don't remember the cost, but it was very reasonable.
