Got back yesterday afternoon from my first trout trip of the year. Not a good trip, fish-wise. Water was high all four days. I don't know whether they were lowering the lake level or just generating more electric power, but the trout were not going for it. I caught a total of five fish. My haul usually runs from 50 to 100. The limit is 5 per day, but we always release most of them if uninjured. Still had a good time visiting with my youngest brother, two nephews and three friends. There were four friends that were signed on for the trip, but one had to drop out; both his wife and his mother were in the hospital.

Norm, you were FISHING. There are no bad fishing trips. You may have confused that with CATCHING.

[Smile]

Glad you are back safe and sound, and had a great trip despite your confusion.

Next time we schedule a trip, I'll check and see if you want in! By the way, the guy that owned and ran it for the last several years died last year and his wife just sold it. New owners take over April 1. He was comparatively young too. 60ish, I'd say.

Still older than me.... Hey, a bad day fishing is a whole lot better than a good day working! I'm still part of the working class!

Glad you got back safe and sound!

Sounds like a lot of fun even if you didn't catch a-lot of fish.
