It's March, selection Sunday less than 2 weeks away, and our Wildcats have done everything from stink the place up to look nearly professional. I have done some digging and 3 of our longest tenured members have been nearly invisible since last year and I am concerned.
Ed, ukcatfannfla, posted last in General Chat on 12-25-2023. His last post in the UK Hoops forum was on 121-16-2023. Surely Ed has had some thoughts on our team over the last 3 months.
My biggest concern is Bruce, catmandoo. His last post that I could find was on 12-29-2023, also in General Chat. His last basketball post was on 12-02-2023, the in game chat for the UNCW game. Bruce is a fixture in the game chats, and usually starts them.
Then there is Norm. He commented on the Ol Miss game chat on 02-13-2024, and he started the most recent word association thread in General Chat on 12-19-2023, and last posted there on 02-01-2024. Norm is daily adding to that topic but it has been 5 weeks now since he has added anything there.
All 3 have been members since the very beginning years of this forum and catmandoo, aside from having just the coolest name ever registered here is also our leader in number of posts.
I have sent all 3 emails to their registered address yesterday and have seen no response from any of them, not even a not delivered due to maybe an old email. All 3 are up in years and have reported health issues recently and I am worried.
I know that some communicate on Facebook, I'm not a fan so I am not one of them, but any information that might be there I would welcome it being shared.
Thanks for anything that anyone might add. Also, unless one of the members mentioned or their representative would do otherwise anything shared will stay here in private.

I know no one looks here much, I don't very often either, but this concerns me. I'll likely send you guys emails my next off day.

Sorry, didn't see this till just now. Life gets in the way alot. We have been through our own battles the last couple of years even though we are not as old. I have been meaning to post an update, and just hadn't gotten around to it.

I moved this here from the moderators forum where I posted it nearly a year ago on March 8. While I didn't research Ed or Bruce's last post since then I did find Norn's last post to be on 4-11-2024 in General Chart, of course, in the Word Association thread.
It has been my custom in the past when we lose a prominent member of our little community to create a forum in their honor for us to pay tribute and then place it in cyber keep forever. Without confirmation of such, it is my greatest fear due to the selfish reasons that make us human that we have possibly lost any or all 3 of our friends to be taken home to our Lord God for eternity.
Until I can somehow confirm this fear as being real I will not at this time create the tribute to our friends. I have searched every way I can think of to locate information on these gentlemen, and have come up empty. Google does not know these men, and while my imagination on how to do the search is limited by my own abilities, I am asking others for ideas and to possibly do their own searches if they so choose.
So, just kind of an update and keeping the memories of these friends, and Wildcats fans, alive.

Thanks for the updates. I don't wander too far from the word association threads anymore, but have noticed traffic in full, has slowed down considerably.
This has always been my favorite board. The infighting on others is such a deterrent.

I have tried to find information as well over the last few months and have come up with nothing as well.
I too don't know how else to look for information on them.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
