Diallo has the ability to be top 5 next year, but if he's 1st round this year, couldn't blame him for going.

Diallo has the athleticism to be a first round draft pick but not the basketball IQ or shooting skills. The latest mock draft has him going in the second round this year. I don't see him ever being an NBA lottery pick, just does not have the game for it.

If he can get drafted in either round he should go. His playing time will certainly diminish next year if all goes as it looks!

We could have some other guards transfer as well with the way Cal is recruiting and these ids are moving up to the 2018 class.

Hamidou averaged 42.8% from the field, 34% from the 3 point line and made 61.1% from the free throw line. He averaged 10.3 points per game and 1.2 assists in 24.8 minutes per game. Those stats are not that impressive but you have to remember he only averaged 24.8 minutes of playing time per game. Wish him well but playing in the NBA is not easy and the caliber of players is a big step up from college basketball.

Doubt if he'll get drafted but someone will pick him up and he'll start in the G league. He may someday sit on a bench in the NBA.
