This news helps confirm that Cal is going to have trouble getting Wiseman. We may still get him but my hope is not high. Cal has been associated with several new big men in the past week or so. I have no doubt he'll end up with a good one but who knows which one it will be
"""Oscar Tshiebwe, one of July's breakout stars, narrowed his list of schools to eight on Tuesday, ITPS Wildcats Director Nate Perry told 247Sports.
The finalists for Tshiebwe are West Virginia, Baylor, Ole Miss, Kansas, Illinois, Georgetown, Kentucky and Virginia. Tshiebwe has yet to schedule any official visits.
The Hermitage (Pa.) Kennedy Catholic standout was nothing short of spectacular during the July evaluation periods and was especially effective at the Adidas Summer Championships in California, where he excelled in a match up against the nation's top recruit -- James Wiseman.
A bruising post prospect, Tshiebwe showed terrific energy and toughness throughout July. His motor never stops running and he plays with a level of toughness that is difficult for oppositions to match. Outside of his motor, Tshiebwe's biggest value is his ability to rebound, as he's relentless on the glass.
Tshiebwe is currently ranked No. 56 overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but that number is sure to rise when rankings are updated in late August."""

I think Wiseman will end up at Memphis with Jeffries.

People are talking like it won't happen but I too believe they'll both go there. The two of them won't get them a championship so we'll have to wait and see how many other 5 stars they can get.

He's only 6-8 but has a bigm wingspan and the weight to play a mean center. Look for him to climb into the 5 star area.
"""A day after four-star post player Oscar Tshiebwe announced he had cut his list to eight schools, Rivals.com national analyst Corey Evans said that he saw the Congo native’s recruitment as a two-team race.
“If I were a betting man, I would place the house on Tshiebwe ending up at West Virginia or Kentucky,” Evans wrote.
West Virginia has been on Tshiebwe’s trail longer than anyone, and the Mountaineers have been considered his favorite for a while. UK just recently got involved. The other six — Baylor, Georgetown, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi and Virginia — likely have their work cut out for them.
UK’s recruitment of Tshiebwe — a 6-foot-8, 230-pound center now playing for Kennedy Catholic (Pa.) — is so new that there has not yet been a confirmation that the Wildcats have extended a scholarship offer. Evans said if that offer does come, he’d be surprised if Tshiebwe doesn’t ultimately end up in UK’s 2019 recruiting class."""
