gcb, we snatched a big time recruit right out of your neck of the woods, here is his bio:
Marckus Boswell, Wide Receiver, 5-10, 165, Fr-HS, Greenville, S. C. (Greenville) Charted eye-popping pass receiving numbers at Greenville (S. C.) HS
Had 53 catches for approximately 970 yards and 16 touchdowns his senior year
Named Junior All-America by Student Sports magazine when he totaled 131 receptions for 2,091 yards and 25 scores that season
First-team all-state as a junior and senior and region player of the year following his junior season
As a sophomore, he snagged 94 balls for 1,682 yards and 23 TDs
Also returned kickoffs and punts and played some at free safety
His size, speed, and playmaking ability have been drawn comparisons to former Wildcat All-American Craig Yeast, the leading receiver in Southeastern Conference history
An All-America prospect by PrepStar
One of the top-25 players in South Carolina by Rivals.com and SuperPrep
Coached by Jim Sosebee
Marckus is tough as nails, Sosebee said. He has great hands, makes tough catches, and is great with the ball after the catch. Hes a competitor who wants the ball in the tough time of the game.
An all-county and all-conference guard in basketball
Also recruited by South Carolina, Florida State, and Miami in addition to Kentucky.

you mean your gamecocks can't recruit players out of greenville? is there a fence around the city that says, "gamecocks not allowed"? i thought you said when you mess with feathers you get spured...just kidding we occasionally have that same problem with our arch rival, louisville..

Well, there's a good reason many UK fans don't talk football. It's UK football. It'd be like an Auburn fan coming on here and trying to talk basketball. Besides, we don't have the Old Ball Coach at the helm either. Anyway, for what it's worth, if any of you fellow Cat fans want to come on board and talk SEC sports, SEC Illustrated is a much higher quality site than SEC Talk. I'm running things there as well. But anyway, yeah, that's why UK fans don't talk lotsa football.
