McClinton said that sitting out last season helped him to become more of a true blue Wildcat fan.
"I've got a lot of school pride now," he said. "I was able to watch the women's basketball team play, the baseball team play, the men's basketball team, the volleyball team. I got to know a lot of athletes, and it hurt me to see them lose. I'm a big fan of UK now. I used to be just a football player."
