The Giants seem to really like him. He has played some in the pre-season and the NY media has given him loads of nicknames.
They don't seem to mind that he turned down going to Europe. Evidently, he wanted to spend the time learning the Giants' system better and NOT eat German food.
He has also trimmed down to a slim 285 lbs.

Did not see whether or not he made the final cut. Did anyone else?

Yes he made the final cut with the Giants. He will be Mannings back-up. As a matter of fact last week he went like 12 of 19 for 165 and a TD or 2. He didn't have too bad of an outing.

Yep. I read he had secured the #2 job in NY and that AJ Feeley and a rookie were battling it out for the #3 position. Good for Jared.

Just as long as he makes enough money to pay the grocery bill.

The longer he can stay in, the more he will benefit. I have often thought of him as immature (being his main weakness) and he seems to be maturing somewhat.
