lyons has caught 6 touchdown passes so far this season and the record i is 14. what are his chances of beating that record? personally i think it's going to be tough. the defences have concentrated on on burton and tamme but with his fantastic start i would imagine he will now be the man with a "x" on his back. we also are are getting into the meat of our schedule and florida and the other great sec teams are all ahead of him.....

Cat I hope the defenses concentrate on Lyons more and if so - Burton will kill whomever does it!!

Who would have thought it (so far) that our passing game is far better than our running game - suppose to be the other way around according to all reports I have read. !! [Smile]

The cats really need big games from Burton and Lyons and Tamme to do well in the SEC. Lyons Jr. has been a nice surprise and i hope we see a lot of games like this from him in the future.

Go Cats

kid10, you are so right our receivers all need to have a good a year for us to go bowling...catfann, makes a good point about burton as he probably is our best all around receiver and he will excel all the more if they start double teaming lyons...this team is starting to look like they can be competitive in the sec..it's really starting to get exciting, i just hope we don't get hammered by florida and lose our confidence.

Uk really needs to hold strong in the florida game. With a win, UK would show the nation that they are a much improved football team. Uk needs to run it and hit quick outs to Burton and Lyons to stay in it. We also have to win the field position battle. This is something important that people overlook.

kid10, field poition and ball control will be vital. we have to give our defensive players rest as we arn't near as deep as florida..
