So when UK Coach Rich Brooks approached Leger the week of the Florida game about switching over to help the Cats' suddenly thin offensive line, Leger was skeptical.

"When Coach Brooks asked me if I wanted to switch over to offense, I said, 'Not really.' " Leger said. "I like defense better, but I know we're short on guys over there on the offensive line, so I just want to help out any way I can and do what's best for the team."

Now, after a strong trial run off the bench in Kentucky's 26-7 loss to Florida, Leger will find himself in the starting lineup at right guard Saturday against Central Michigan.
