Author Topic: cats want fans more involved! catmandoo Player Member # 1284 posted 09-30-2006 09:41 AM                     Rich Brooks and the Kentucky players are asking for a little home cookin' for tonight's pivotal game against Central Michigan. The contest is the first of what could be a season-turning two-game homestand for the Wildcats. A win tonight would give UK its first 3-0 start at home since 2002, and set the stage for a visit from Steve Spurrier and South Carolina next weekend. The Wildcats haven't started 4-0 at home since 1987. "Coach has talked a lot lately about us protecting our home turf," said senior center Trai Williams. "If we take care of home, we'll get to a bowl game." Brooks said UK needs to "own Commonwealth Stadium," and the players said the fans play a big part in that. Leach commented on the boo birds on the radio broadcast. -------------------- The potus is planning 1st major tax hike since '93 in next economic package!
