Rich Brooks and the Kentucky players are asking for a little home cookin' for tonight's pivotal game against Central Michigan.
The contest is the first of what could be a season-turning two-game homestand for the Wildcats. A win tonight would give UK its first 3-0 start at home since 2002, and set the stage for a visit from Steve Spurrier and South Carolina next weekend. The Wildcats haven't started 4-0 at home since 1987.
"Coach has talked a lot lately about us protecting our home turf," said senior center Trai Williams. "If we take care of home, we'll get to a bowl game."
Brooks said UK needs to "own Commonwealth Stadium," and the players said the fans play a big part in that. Junior linebacker Wesley Woodyard is frequently raising his arms trying to get the fans involved during games. fans got to be involved

The fans were really getting involved when we allowed the Chipewas to cut the lead to 2 points with a chance to tie late in teh fourth quarter! Leach commented on the boo birds on the radio broadcast.

yeah, Leech commented on the boo birds only because FCC rules prevented him from commenting on the more aggressive "BULLS***" birds that were screaming at Archer...
