Topic: SEC fines UK $5,000 for fans on field

The Southeastern Conference has fined the University of Kentucky $5,000 because fans stormed the field at Commonwealth Stadium and removed a goal post Saturday after the Wildcats defeated Georgia.

This is a stupid rule that was put in place in response to the fight in the NBA with Artest and some fans. My understanding is that the fine goes up quite a bit after the first incident. I understand the concern but geezzz....
There should be an exemption for post game celebration events.
