At his current pace, Bennett would finish with 346 receptions at the end of the 2008 season, a total that would obliterate the conference record of 208 held by former Kentucky receiver Craig Yeast.
Perhaps Florida coach Urban Meyer said it best last week after Bennett burned the Gators with 13 catches for 156 yards last week in a Vanderbilt loss.
“I think he’s an NFL wide receiver,” Meyer said. “It’s a shame that he’s only a sophomore and that we have to see him the next couple of years.”

He had a very good game against us last year...I could be wrong but thought he had it down to Kentucky and Vandy before deciding on the Dores....good player and I hope some good defense, along with some wet and windy conditions help stiffle the kid a bit today.
