In the eyes of Marcus McClinton, a defensive player coming up with turnovers is equal to having the physical attributes of a Halle Berry or Salma Hayek.

It's something that will definitely get you noticed

McClinton makes a good observation on concentrating on turnovers leading to missed tackles and big passing plays for the opposition. Could it be that such gambling on continually going for the ball leads to Cats' woeful defensive statistics? I ask the question just to try to ascertain the gaping holes in Cats defense? Scheme? Lack of talent? What?

From the link:

While the Cats forced three turnovers, the Commodores repeatedly broke through arm tackles en route to 621 yards of offense.

"Repeatedly broke through arm tackles" - That in my mind represents what is wrong with our defense. We are not good at the BASICS.

Everyone knows the Game is lost or won at the LOS, and we seem to not be very good there. Granted, we're young, and injured, but if we can not win the LOS, we'll always be two steps behind, no matter how many passes we intercept.
