Probably the thing I remember (about Kentucky) is the fan support," Bowden said. "I was a little surprised at how fanatical they supported their team with crowds. Tremendous fan support. And I think the (bowl) sellout this year is indicative of the fact that's still a factor."

Back then, for that one year, they were fanatical about Tommy Bowden.
