Eleven of the 12 Southeastern Conference schools return a quarterback who has started at least one game for his respective team. Florida is the exception, but the Gators have Tim Tebow and he ain't too bad.
So the position is pretty deep in this league. Here is one man's ranking of the top five quarterbacks in the SEC heading into the 2007 season.

Tim Tebow will be tough to beat even for Woodson. I believe Tebow will be the best SEC quarterback since Peyton.

This season will be a whole new world for Tebow as far as throwing the ball. Last year, teams gave him a ton of room and expected him to run everything. This year, he can expect a lot more legit pass defense. He is obviously very talented but it will be interesting to see how he throws the ball and if he take the regular hard hits that will come if he runs nearly as often as last year in a full-time role.
