I'm going to the EKU game, is there a good place to park, or is there a place to park and ride a shuttle to the game? Thanks

There is a church parking lot, Shoe, just a short walk to the stadium which only the neighborhood people know about. It is Crestwood Christian (my church) on Bellefonte Dr. They only charge, I believe, $5.00 and the proceeds go to support the youth programs of the church. It's an easy in and even easier out. You don't get caught up in all the traffic on the major roads around the stadium.

If you're coming on Tates Creek Road toward the stadium, turn left at Albany. Go to the 4-way stop sign, that's Bellefonte. Turn right and go one block to the church on the corner of Bellefonte and Glendover. Go through the 4-way stop there and enter the church lot at the second driveway. There will be teen-agers there about 2 hours before the game to show you where to park.

No... But that's not a half bad idea. I'll mention it to the youth minister. Might be a way to make even more money.

You sure don't want to eat those nasty, way over-priced burgers and hotdogs they sell at the stadium.

I park there sometimes myself. You can park across the street from the church for free or on one of the side streets. There are even people that live on the street that will let you park in their driveways for 5 dollars.

There used to be a group of kids that sold hot dogs and soda and water and all kinds of stuff that located themselves just a little way before you got to the arboretum. Those kids are probably teenagers by now but I think there are still some kids selling stuff on the street.

It's about a mile from the church lot to the stadium walking distance. So wear comfortable shoes.
