A tale of best laid plans and what might have been.
Checked my Yahoo connection and their broadcast schedule and prepared to join in Cats' opener with pre-game at 4:30. Wife was going to a charity opera and the Internet and TV was mine. Began watching early TV games and periodically checked Yahoo, all good. Then at about 3:15 the Internet connection goes down. Nothing to worry about, that happens occasionaly in Panama and besides kickoff is 3 hours away. As you might guess the connection didn't come back until 10 p.m. so I was relegated to watching for UK score on the ESPN trailer. After accepting the inevitable I was placated by the fact that I could get on TCD Sunday morning and follow game progress by comments on the "Game Thread". Much to my dismay: no thread. Is that typical for FB (I know there is always one for BB)? Who has the responsibility?

I normally post on the game whenever I'm getting to weatch the games live but living here in the land of "disenchantment" I was relegated to only listening to the game on the radio. If you would like next week I'll be happy to run an ongoing thread durign the game. I'd almost be happy too. But I will only be going by what Tom Leach says since the game is on Pay-per-view only.

Gracias, mh, hopefully I won't need it next week but it's fun anyway.
