We can win if we can control the ball on the ground and stop them on at least three drives.

We can't win in the kicking game department, if it comes to that.

Hopefully, we'll win turnovers. If so, I like our spot.

We have 3 great backs and if we use them wisely and don't get into a passing game with them we have a shot. I really think we have a coaching staff that will have the game plan needed to win the game...

Yes, we have to force them into turnovers (at least 2, and 3 would be nice!!!) Meanwhile, we cannot commit turnovers or silly penalties. The best defense is a good offense, so lets use our running game (the best its been in years) to wear the suspect Cardinal defense out. Also we need a few gimmick plays from our off. coordinator (Joker). If this all happens, Cats 35..............U of L 31

GO BIG BLUE!!!

If UK can win this one, we are going to make a splash in the SEC East. I believe BIG BLUE cannot compete with everyone except maybe LSU, who is the best team in the country.

It is imperative that three things happen:

1. We never, EVER, get down by more than one score.
2. Our ground game is effective in moving the football, eating up clock, and scoring.
3. Woodson keeps their defense honest with a few deep throws, hopefully for a TD or two!
4. Our defense must get some stops and TOs. Dropping Brohm to the turf a few times would be nice as well. [Big Grin]

Why is it that we have problems finding a kicker who is automatic? With the popularity of soccer you'd think there would be plenty to chose from. [Cool]

Ball control. That's it.

Keeping Louisville's defense on the field and the offense on the sidelines. UK needs to try to keep the ball for at least 40 minutes of the game if not more.

Keep UL's receivers in front of the DB's. Wrap up the ball carrier and TACKLE!!

...I do hope Woodyard gets to pop Brohm in the mouth about 15 times though. I would love to see the defense get at least 6 sacks on Brohm.

DT,
your right about kickers! Why can't Uk ever get a decent kicker. This Lones Seiler kid is missing extra points, how can we expect him to hit a big fg to beat top 20 teams?

I know we got a kicker from Trinity that is a freshman at UK. i am not sure if he is as good as UK as he was at Trinity though

The only way I see to beat Brohm is to beat his line. Unfortunately, I have not seen this happen since he was a sophomore in high school.

Anyway, ball control will be key. Big plays won't help us. Possession time will. Turnovers could be key too.

Win or Lose, I hope the Cats put up a heck of a fight to make it a close game...prove to the critics that we can compete against top 10 teams.

Ahh I change my mind, I hope the “Cards” get an a$$ kicking. Go Cats!!!

Personally I don't think either defense is going to stop the other offense.

I hope UK puts the ball in the air and often. Offense is both teams calling card and if I were the coach I would want my best player deciding the outcome of this game and that happens to be the QB for each team.

I hope to see a lot of passing by UK in this game and less running. UL's secondary is weak, as is UK's. They get Williams in at linebacker this week as well which should help their run defense. I would pass all day if I were Joker and Rich.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
