We're off to a 3-0 start going to Ark. next week! This will be our first road game of the season. Ark put up quite a battle against 'Bama tonight.

Welcome to TCD, hogstout32. Any other fearless insights worth reading? Any news on McFadden's concussion?

Arkansas made a nice comeback at the end of the game. They just ran out of time. I imagine the Hogs will be pretty riled up about last weeks game and ready to take it out on UK.
I hope McFadden is indeed OK and ready to play on Saturday. (seriously, he's a great player and a great asset to the SEC and I want to see him playing on Sunday's) but also because, as was mentioned before, I don't want any excuses to be thrown out should UK beat Arkansas. It should be a good game for both teams, might even come down to the last possession of the game for either team.

I lived in Arkansas for about seven years. They are as fanatic about their football as we are about our basketball...... Maybe more so! Frank Broyles was a God!

I would think that we would be hoping to have an equal twosome on board now (Gillispie/Brooks) as they had in Richardson/Broyles. I also spent a little time in the state at Newport when I was in the Air Force. We had a Radar Bomb Scoring train located just outside of town off the highway a little way back in the 60's. They had some friendly folks at the night spots we used to frequent.

I was stationed at Little Rock AFB from 67 - 71 and again from 74 - 77, when I retired. I don't think Richardson was BB coach while Broyles was FB coach. I think Eddie Sutton was the BB coach when Broyles gave up the FB team and took the AD job.
I COULD be wrong. I have been before. I went to a class/school reunion this weekend and didn't remember half the people from my class!

I sure wish Ark. had won instead of losing a heartbreaker (either team would have been heartrbroken). They see us as the cure for what ails em. But I would think our guys are soaring with confidence right now, and winning as a road dog is how we can really earn some stripes. The Hawgs running game concerns me and I sure wouldnt bet it...but I believe it will be a good one.
That wouldnt be so bad Norm , cept they werent but 8 people in your graduating class from what I hear.....
