What was the injury? I did not get to hear the game, so I have not heard.

I want to say an ankle sprain, but I may be confusing that with the player who returned the fumble for the TD just before the half.

Thanks again. I hope these are all minor injuries. That is one thing we can't stand.

The Freshman Locke was really impressive when he had to step in late in the game, for the injured backs. He could run, and it looked like it would take 2 men and a prybar to get the ball away from him. [ 09-23-2007, 12:08 AM: Message edited by: Ironrange ]

Ironage, the reason Locke can run is he has 4.3 forty speed.
He came to Kentucky on a track scholarship but Brooks wanted him to play football, to do so he had to give him a scholarship. Luckily one of his recruits that was given a scholarship was not elgible due to his grades so Brooks had a scholarship to give Locke.
It looks like he has the tools to play on Sunday when he graduates and we are so fortunate to have him.
It's hard for me to imagine how we have so many very talented running backs. We are 5 deep at the position and every one of them is talented.

bayer, according to Brooks Smith's injury may take more time to heal than Little's. However with the stable of running backs we have he has the luxury to hold them back and make sure they heal properly before playing them.
