Even if we both lose to LSU, we could be higher ranked than Florida when we play them. I just got out my bible and looked, and that is indeed one of the signs of the apocalypse.

The Cats need to beat USC on the road, thursday night, and need a few other teams to get upset, and a top 5 ranking is a possibility.

Wow, never thought i would see us break the top 10.
I just do not see us going to Columbia and beating the cocks. Hope I am wrong...

...he said beating the cocks...
The Harris poll has UK at #7. This will be an interesting poll to look at when the BCS finially comes out which makes the AP poll insignificant.

Imagine that, UK pulls off the win at SC and then the upset against LSU. UK could be ranked #1. Unlikely but just being in a position that this could even be considered is amazing in itself.

We have played well enough to get to the point we are at. Now comes the real games. We will find out during October if we really do have a good team or................ There's a lot of history going against the team that they will have to overcome. There will be no room for many mistakes against SC. Hope the team is up for it.

Yeah, the first 5 games were nice to win but the next 3 games will be the real test of how good a football team we are.
Beating UL and R-Kansas were good measuring sticks, but now we are playing teams that can bring a complete package to the table.
I like UK's chances though. I feel like this will be a special season for UK when all is said and done.
