As a U of L season-ticket holder, I expect the play on the field to equal the amount I have to pay in donations and season-ticket costs. Losing to one of the worst teams in college football at home (Syracuse) doesn't cut it. Before attacking our loyal fan base, take a look at the product on the field.

I can understand their disappointment. The fans paid for prime rib and the team is serving them hamburger.
But, I have to say that UL established their program by beating up on the teams from CUSA and not a lot of those teams were very good. When you're the big fish in a small pond it's easy to get everything you want. (right USC?)
UL went to the Big East which was a step up (not a large step but a step in any case) and reality is starting to set back into the program.
However, I think the end of the line is up for UL this season because they broke the 3rd cardinal (no pun intended) rule of college football for this season and that rule states:
If thou loseth to Syracuse, thou sucketh!
They should pack it in right now.

There have been countless college programs that have suffered setbacks and many of their fans have paid far more than your average UofL fan, but they by in large don't boo their team. I certainly don't see their fans defending booing like I have heard so-called UofL fans.
This has been fun watching them go at each other.
After they beat NC State, I was actually happy because I thought they would stop whining. Now, some are even crowing again and saying that the UK win was a "gift" from them.
