I know the loss was tough to swallow, I think most of the UK fans didn't mind losing to USC so much as they hated losing to Spurrier. (I know that really sticks in my craw)

However, have you noticed that the mood after the loss is one of disappointment. The fans are disappointed because they expected UK to go into USC and win. When was the last time that was the mindset of the UK faithful? When was the last time a UK team went on the road and the UK fans expected the team to win? Not just play well with a lot of heart and emotion and maybe get lucky, but go into another teams home turf and be expecting to win?

I like the new attitude that people are developing for UK football. I hope it continues and gets a huge shot in the arm after UK defeats LSU this Saturday.

That would be great but I'm not holding my breath. I'll be happy with another 8-5 season.

Brandon I agree. I felt that disappointment, and I told my girlfriend I can't believe I am as disappointed as I am. I really felt that if we continued to improve and didn't make too many mistakes we had a good chance. I think we really did up until the muffed fumble on the 50 after we forced a 3 and out.

Tough Game coming up...
