Let me start by saying I'm an OSU fotball fan(Booo! Hisss!!!)with UK second.I'm sure that statement will go over well here. I have followed UK football in the hopes that maybe one day the Wildcats could legitimize the football program.I have watched for years wondering why this program couldn't seem to turn the corner despite fabulous fan support.Other than a bowl game every 5 or 6 years, the football has been lousy.I've always viewed the UK football program as a potential sleeping giant so it got frustrating to see the Wildcats get physically beatup on the field and the scoreboard in the SEC year after year. Now things are different.I see a toughness in the players and emotion I haven't seen since 1984.I get the feeling that this year could finally be the turnaround that UK fotball fans have been waiting for and not just some 1 year fluke that has happened in the past. Anyway congratulations Cat football fans on the victory over LSU.That was a special moment and hopefully an indicator of bigger things to come. [ 10-17-2007, 02:52 PM: Message edited by: ohiocat ]
