This win puts us in the chase," running back Derrick Locke said. "We can still get to a really good bowl. We can still get to Atlanta."

Kentucky needs plenty of help if it wants to win play for the SEC title.

Kentucky just needs to worry about Kentucky. If UK just stays focused and beats UGA and UT, then everything else will take care of itself. Anything less than winning out rules out Atlanta all-together, so I'm not even worrying about the SEC Title game until after the next two weeks. UGA is playing really well right now and so is UT, so both of those games will be VERY tough to win. At 7-5, I don't see going to any better of a bowl than we went to last year. At 8-4, hopefully a New Year's Day bowl, and at 9-3, a chance for Atlanta. These next two weeks are huge and UK must win them. Nothing else really matters. I don't like the fact that Brooks made the comment, "If we win next week or if we don't win next week." What kind of confidence is that? UK is good enough to beat UGA again and he should be saying, "When we win next week." Just my opinion.

No chance for Atlanta - no matter how we do! But certainly a New Years Day Bowl is very possible!! [Smile]

UK needed South Carolina to beat Florida in order to have a chance at Atlanta. UK can win out and finished tied with Florida but Florida owns the tiebreaker.

The Cats are in position to get an SEC affiliated bowl game. They take care of Georgia and Tennessee and they will be playing on New Years day.

Looks like if we win our next two games then Capital One Bowl; split then Outback Bowl, both Jan. 1; 0-2 then Liberty or Music City(again).
