Woodson matched Ainge throw for throw, throwing for 430 yards and six touchdowns, but the Wildcats (7-5, 3-5) let a chance to beat the Vols for the first time since 1984 get away.

I wanted to give up early but just couldn't. They
played the second half like they should have in
the first. I'll give them credit, there are no
quit in them.
Hopefully this will help recruiting since there
were several recruits at the game.

I thought this one was going to be a blowout, but you gotta love the heart this team plays with. Too bad we couldnt pull out a win over the Vols, for the seniors. Just a blocked field goal away from the win. I could just see it splitting the up rights, and a huge celebration taking place, but alas we have to wait until next year again.

a fumbled snap away from a win in regulation.
The game came down to, once again, turnovers. UT capitalized on the ones they got; UK did not.
UK should have won the game 28-17.

I was very disappointed with the lack of inspired effort the team gave in the first half. Had they come to play from the start, they may not have had to make the courageous effort they did in the second half. Having said that, I was very happy and proud for them that they did not roll over and quit at the half. Now if they will just carry the second half effort over to the bowl game and leave something for next year's team to build on, then their legacy will be secure.
