He's seen the back-and-forth Les Miles, Louisiana State vs. Michigan saga unfold publicly, and last week's big story, Bobby Petrino jilting the Atlanta Falcons to take the Arkansas gig.

And at least for this December, Barnhart can sit back and take relief that he's on the outside looking in.
