The University of Kentucky has its second football verbal commitment from the Class of 2009 and it's another in-state player.

North Hardin wide receiver LaRod King attended the Wildcats' junior day on Saturday and committed to the coaching staff before he left Lexington.

That is the school that Woodson came from -- and arch-rival of my high school!

Looks like a good pick-up -- a 6'6" wide receiver makes a good target! He is slated to play QB next year, and he plays Basketball as well (10ppg, 11rbg), so he likely can get up in the air to snag some passes (or maybe -- dare I say it -- block some kicks). The fact that he is committing as a junior, knowing he will be a WR, makes it even better.

Just the little I see on him makes me think of Lonell DeWalt. Both 6'6 wideouts and 2 sport guys.
