UK special teams coach Steve Ortmeyer says field goal kicker Lones Seiber needs to think like a professional golfer when it comes to correcting errors and he says Seiber must focus better during games. The placekicker's job is up for grabs in the wake of Seiber's struggles in the Middle Tennessee game. Ortmeyer thinks Seiber's issues are fixable. If you've made a couple of those earlier in the round the hole is the approximate size of a gallon can; missed a few prior and the hole shrinks to a couple of inches. Which proves the golfing axiom: the most important distance in golf is the 6 inches between the ears. The hole shrinks with every missed putt. I bet Bayer would confirm that too. Seiber was signed to be a kicker so he has the talent.
