This game gives us hope for the future as it proved we can go on the road and play with any good team. A lot of us had us losing big to a very solid Alabama football team.

Our defense is rock solid as it did a great job, holding them to only a 4th quarter field goal in the second half and 2 touchdowns in the first half. We did this with some of our key defensive players injured and on the bench.

Not only should we have a solid season this year we should do well in future seasons with the young players on the squad and the recruting class we will have coming in.

Life is good with Kentucky football.

The offense will step up next year with the return of so many O-Linemen...plus Christian Johnson and Jeffers. We'll need Lumkin and a couple other guys to step up on the D-Line...but with Smith, Locke and the continuing development of W. Guy (theres 3/4 of an all-sec track team right there)we will have some quicks. Its fun to watch knowing we have a shot.... every week!
