He is starting to rise as one of the all-time great receivers for the Wildcats. He is surprising a lot of people especially because of his size and care free attitude. He came to Kentucky because of his father's prowess as a punt returner and Lyons Sr. still holds records for punt returns. Before it's over Dicky Jr. will have some records of his own.
Dicky Lyons caught six passes for 63 yards and a touchdown against Alabama.
Lyons Jr. is now fifth all-time on the UK career receptions list with 137 and ranks fifth on the career receiving yardage list with 1,740 yards.
Tied for third on the career receiving TD list (18).
Lyons has caught at least two passes in 25 consecutive games.

The announcers stted without any reservation that they believe DL will be playing on Sundays. Its good to see him having such a fine career and contributing bigtime to the program.

Lyons is a good player but I swear he has been there a better part of a decade. What is he like a 7th year senior. I know he isn't but it seems like I have heard his name forever. Kinda like when Hines Ward was a UGA, it seemed like he had been playing with Herschel
